About Me
CURRENT MISSION
graduating. now someday
ABOUT ME
UPDATE: I am now back in Knoxville TN studying to be an accountant. I will be starting a Masters Program this August and then maybe I will finally graduate to real adult life. But for now, I study, work, cook, garden, hang with my cat and my man, and make a mean mojito.
I studyed abroad in Barcelona, Spain, living it up and traveling. I visited Munich, Germany and was hosted by two different but awesome people (Jurgen and Stefan). I also visited Amsterdam, Prague, Edinbourgh/Glasgow, Brussels (twice), Dublin, Italy (Naples, Rome, Pisa, Genova, Milan), Swansea, and the UK. I studied abroad in Cambridge for a summer.
I was going to the Culinary Institute of America to live out my dream of just traveling the globe and cooking up a storm. I have no ambitions of being a celebrity chef or on a cooking show or own a 5 Michelin Star restaurant. I just want to wander, learn a thing here or there, and then open up a little cafe somewhere by the sea. My most recent endeavor was to be the "culinary" art at my roommate's art show. I am not much of a recipe learner. I would much rather learn the technique and then come up with my own creation.
General Likes and Dislikes:
I really like plaid print on anything. I feel that tomatoes are underrated as a fruit. I like to cook, but I'm also really good at it.
Dislikes are pretty simple: loud boisterous drunks, people who can't keep their hands to themselves or on their own stuff, bland eaters.
My page is for myself and my best friend Sierra. We backpacked our way up Italy from December 18th, 2009 to December 29th, 2009--we visited Naples, Rome, Pisa, Genova, Milan and then back to Barcelona and Madrid for New Year's!!
PHILOSOPHY
if I ever need to relax all I need is a kitchen and my yoga mat

Music, Movies, and Books
I consume visual media not so much music but I'm slowly building a musical collection of known tunes that I can respect. It doesn't matter what type of movie or show, I watch them all, good and bad alike.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
my brother being born--just disturbing yet awesome
I have received the slow clap from an audience before and it was just like the movies
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn: camping skills (I've almost got this skill down now), french, italian, spanish, cooking some regional dishes of Spain and Italy and France and wherever else I find an open kitchen
Teach: Southern American cuisine (fried chicken, cornbread, the good stuff), 80's dance moves, math?, yoga, Karoke skills, how to depreciate assets and other fun accounting things.
Share: love of spicy foods and good beer
