ABOUT ME

I am a student of life, street philosopher, and wanna-be musician who enjoys yoga, meditation, anything music, dancing, reading, and being outdoors. I grew up in Alaska in a conservative hunting/fishing household and have strayed towards non-violence to all things after having practiced meditation for several years and realized my intrinsic connection to everything in the universe.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe I am here to make a difference in this world, no matter how small or big that may be. I believe that information alone can bring light to the world and we can stop hating, hurting, and killing each other. If we understood that we are all one, that we are brothers and sisters, we wouldn't fear each other, and we would love each other. When you take away everything we aren't, love is all you're left with, it's our natural state! This love is us and is the reason for us being here; to share it and enjoy it. Knowing this simple truth really sets us free of the bondage of the defilements of the mind and of the ego. Once freed from these things, we are free to walk the path of liberation hand in hand. Aren't you excited??

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have spent countless nights on friends couches all over the country. When I was living in Montana, sometimes I'd show up at a friend's unannounced, and end up sleeping on the couch for several days. I guess I'm just a community type of guy who likes the company of others and enjoys a good talk.
