About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Meet many people from all around the world. Make my global family more bigger and be there with strangers, friends, colleague, travellers, couchsurfers, as more people as possible.

ABOUT ME
I am self employed from my early age. I created work for myself all the time and it makes me a bit work-o-holic. I am always in work. Besides many activities, I am consistently doing my tourism business in Nepal from 2010. I started tea business is 2015 and running a tearoom in Nepal. As I am into tourism and hospitality business, I encounter many travellers. I like to share ideas, experiences and profession with all of you. Promoting myself, my profession, my country is also a part of my mission. Its all about knowing each other and promoting whatever we have - I dont monetise myself, my profession in this platform and expect same with other too.

I am a person who can adapt to any situation with any kind of people. I always have a unique perspective when approaching an issue due to my broad range of interests and hobbies. I believe in pragmatic approach to the things. I am easy-going, open-minded and amazing companion. Over-optimistic and friendly....

I am not religious but I believe the nature and cosmic power of this universe which I take as an universal truth. I like eco-friendly and sustainable activities and always think about sustainable social approach. Its never late to learn so I am always a student learning my own life. Do you want to teach me some steps? Please come in touch....I can host you whenever you are in Kathmandu or you can host me while I am visiting your place.

PHILOSOPHY

Be proud for your presence in this world as you are the center point for this universe. Same time give the equal respect to each entity as without which your presence is really not possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I knew about CS from one of friend when I was planning to travel Europe. I did not travel that time but start using CS and hosting people. I like the concept of meeting people. I get a feelling of global family while meeting any CSers. After hosting more than 500 people I had my first surfing experience in United States, Los Angeles and that was amazing. Surfed twice in New York before renting apartment. I accept surfers while I am in move too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

99.79% of my CS experience has been great. The universe always bring me good and like-minded people. I have now closer-than-family-members kind of CS family which I use to say my global family.

Hosted more than 700 people back home in Kathmandu, surfed 4 hosts and learned many thing during this period. The CS feeling that comes in me while meeting surfers or host is what I love most. Even in the first meeting I use to have feeling like both knows each other from long time and no existence of insecurity and suspense. I am lucky that I always had good experiences.

Interests

TEA became my most prioritised interest at the moment. I like traveling, meeting new people, make party and to cook new recipes. I love everything I do and I do things in fullest without any judgement.

Trekked Mt. Everest BC in 18 days.
Many amazing experiences in CS

Teach, Learn, Share

I am not a good cook but what about sharing cooking? Cooking is a culture and it is different which depends where you are. While traveling, if you dive into the local food, you can explore a lot of things about that place. I can exchange cooking culture of my place. Also I can provide you with travel tips and information from my place. As I am in this business I have got some knowledge on it.

I can also share our cultural and artistic facts from Nepal. As a travel professional, of course, I can share my ideas and experiences about the tourism in Nepal like trekking, hiking, sightseeing, adventures etc. It does not mean that you need to buy service from my company. Please understand my company and me are different entities.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My house at Kathmandu. When you want to know me, my family and our life-way, don't come for a night or 2. It's is not enough to understand someone's lifestyle. I encourage people to surf a week, a moderate timeframe to understand and be closer to your host. Surfing 2 nights is more intentional to cutoff your travel expenses which should not be the reason to surf someone.

At the moment, I am in New York and it is not possible to host people so openly like I used to do in Nepal. Must of the time I am not able to host because small space and my privacy as well. But I dont loose a chance to meet any interested people and share whatever comes.
