ABOUT ME
I like building up a cool musical library, reading in Spanish, sharing stories songs and making new friends. Spend minimal time preening my crow's feet. Soaking Bob Dylan concert in summer, and manatee visitation in murky Florida waters were highlights of my life this past year.
PHILOSOPHY
I tend to leave these parts blank. Not that I don't have any though!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Had good hosting last summer in Moab with some internationals and ramblers. Then when I was in Mallorca in '09 it was because of couchsurfing connections that I found an unbelievable room to rent for a month by the king's summer palace and my campus and the beach. We had concert outings and adventure hikes along with weekly social table meetings in Palma.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Everything above was awesome thanks to couchsurfing. In Madrid there was the case of a host who really shouldn't have been on couchsurfing and was rude, but he lived on a nightlife street full of putas, which he warned me about, at the same time he called me "puti". Other than that, Madrid hosts were so touching and welcoming to their community. We had a great time.
Interests
I'm interested in chopping wood and saunas in the fall and winter... playing in the band, windsurfing and building villas in the tropics in the warmer months. I plan to be leading and teaching a group of teenagers to go down to Costa Rica for Spanish immersion classes.

Music, Movies, and Books
"Impossible Germany" by Wilco... "Trouble" by Cat Stevens
Queen Latifah, Wycleff, P.P. Arnold, John Lennon, just a few. I read usually about history, the holocaust, biblical texts, and religious movements.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stared over the edge of a 150 to 200 foot drop at the rocky end of a snow-filled chute on Mount Ogden deadliest side. I was tele skiing and got "cliffed out." I managed to climb out of the chute, knowing that one lost footing or slip would probably end my life. It took everything I had to fight my way out of that danger. I came out so much more grateful for my life and the gift that it is to others. Ready to make a new start and do anything I'm called to do. To live making better decisions every time.
