About Me
Hey People!
I'm New here & I need support and love. I'm Dharm Prakash Tiwari, but you can call me Dharmesh or Sonu. I'm super social, especially when I'm traveling. I love meeting people from all over the world and learning about different languages and cultures. I'm a talkative guy – I chat with people on buses, talk to vendors, and strike up conversations while waiting for trains. I even ask for directions, even if I know where I'm going. The more people you talk to, the more they learn about your journey.
I'm not really a morning person, but I'm up for road trips, backpacking, and hiking, depending on your style.
People say I'm brave, but I just trust others and use a bit of courage to get started.
I am loving the community here. Everyone is so warm and welcoming and i think it’s the best part about Couch-surfing.
Remember, the happiest people are the ones who give, not the ones who take.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing to meet new people and hear about their travel experiences. I really want to use this website to travel and make new friends, possibly meeting them in their hometowns.
I've hosted a few people and had a lot of fun getting to know them. I hope to meet more people with open minds and interesting experiences.
Hosting and being hosted in different places is a wonderful experience, and I love sharing stories. I enjoy meeting people from different parts of the world and learning about them.
In a nutshell, I'm here to meet interesting people, find inspiration, practice languages, and exchange experiences! 😊
I believe in the principle of karma: do good and you'll receive good in return. If I help others today and share my experiences, I'm sure to receive help when I travel. 😊

Translation:
You have a right to perform your prescribed duties, but you are not entitled to the fruits of your actions. Never consider yourself to be the cause of the results of your activities, nor be attached to inaction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've had quite a journey from my college days till now:
1) Born in beautiful Bharat (INDIA), I love my country with its diverse seasons, landscapes, and vibrant cities.
2) Drove my bike and scooter alone for 300 km for the first time – an amazing experience.
3) Rode my scooter for 15 km along the beach at 3 am with new friends, discovering new places before I knew
about this website.
4) Went on a motorcycle trip with two friends from UP, exploring Mumbai, Nashik, Pune, Alibag, and having
lots of fun.
5) Explored Prayagraj and Varanasi in January, reuniting with an old Couchsurfing friend and creating great
memories.
6) Yes, 🤔 excited for the next chapter...

Teach, Learn, Share
I believe in the mantra: 👉Teach, Learn, Share.
Teach: I can show you Indian cooking and teach languages like Hindi, Bhojpuri, Maithali, Marathi, and share art, culture, and history.
Share: I'm happy to share my experiences and culture over a nice beverage, whenever possible.
Learn: I define myself in one word - a "learner," always open to new ideas and experiences because learning never ends.
Sanskrit Sloka:
शिक्षायामोऽध्ययनं धर्मानामदानं यज्ञस्य च।
स्वाध्यायान्मा प्रमदः पारमार्थेनावसेत्सुधीः॥
Translation:
Study is the basis of Dharma, it is the foremost charity, and it is superior to all sacrifices. One should not neglect one's duty to study.
What I Can Share with Hosts
What I Can Offer to Hosts:
1) Coffee and homemade meals.
2) Warm friend and family vibes.
3) Sharing knowledge, experiences, and jokes.
4) Tips and help for traveling in and around the city.
I'm a huge music fan, especially of soft and old tunes from the 70s and 80s by artists like Kumar Sanu, Lataji, and Priya Ghosal.
