Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make a plan, then let the world break it.
ABOUT ME
I'm a NYC transplant working 14 hour days all week long. I was reporter in Queens, a customer service rep at Whole Foods and now I'm a rooted vagabond in law school. I read too many magazines and watch bad television. I want to live in Antarctica and investigate the criminally negligent. I want to stop time.
PHILOSOPHY
On it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I couchsurfed in Alaska and still maintained the notion that couchsurfing was about a free place to sleep. It's not. It is so not. It's about experience and exchange, friendship and adventure. It's about one of the last remaining places to explore - the adventures of others. I stay open minded and recklessly endearing, if everyone did the same, a web site would be obsolete.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I used to say hostels ruin hotels because of the opportunities they provide to meet travelers, well, hostels have been ruined for me by couchsurfing.com
Interests
staring at walls and mindless exchange. Also, mindful exchange. And kittens. Who doesn't like kittens?

Music, Movies, and Books
Right now, The New Yorker, Harper's, the Atlantic, New York Magazine, Mother Jones, Columbia Journalism Review and the Economist. Life is consumed with my magazine subscriptions and subway rides.
Movie: Conudrum. Just ask...
Music: Let's not shit Ourselves - Bright Eyes. Lyric mastery...
Book: The last of the really great Wangdoodles. Oh kids, it's a classic...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Fairbanks in the dead of winter, the grand canyon at sunset from the bottom, the pyramids while sporting a handlebar mustache and a picture of my former home being sunk off the coast of hawaii. No really, sunk by a missile.
Teach, Learn, Share
Minor photographic technicalities, ways to massively mess a grammatical sentence and a little bit of this and that are all things I can teach. Learning is easier, I can learn anything given time. But that is the problem. Sharing, well, I'll share anything I have, from cigarettes to laundry detergent and stale bread crumbs. But that might be all I have, plus, I usually don't have those.
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, China, Ecuador, Germany, Ghana, Italy, Panama, Singapore, Switzerland, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
Egypt, United States
