About Me

Hi, I'm Dhaval an 23 year old entrepreneur figuring out my path in this beautiful life! Love enjoying amazing experiences life has to offer & taking the path less traveled. Dropped out of UMass Amherst Isenberg as a Senior to buy some businesses, and was the best decision I've made. Have since been obsessed with travel!

My references may gave a better idea on the type of person I am.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet interesting people from all over the World and sharing our unique experiences! Living with someone is the quickest way to fundamentally understand a new culture & explore the world. CS opens your eyes to to new perspectives and allows you to create friendships in authentic manner!

Maybe you grew up in a small town and have just learned about travel. Some may have backpacked across Europe, while others have explore the nation in a R.V. We're all on the journey to find our passions and understand what matters to us. Travel in my humble opinion helps us get there sooner and grants us the luxury of meeting people we would not interact on a daily basis. This is unique experience shapes our view of the world and maybe some of your will agree, it brings us closer together as we're more similar than we realize.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books -
Love non-fiction, business books. All time favorites are 'Rich dad poor dad', 'Think and grow rich', '7 habits of highly effective people', and Good to great!

Only Fiction I've read are 'The adventures of Huck Finn' and 'Cirque de Freak' by darren shah

Music -
Love Bollywood, hip hop is always dope and maybe some country or jazz in there.

Movies -
Love movies, usually a rare treat when I get to enjoy. Really enjoy ones that have a message behind it such as 'Good will Hunting', 'The founder', 'Coach Carter' , 'Goonies' and any documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped off a 30ft bridge in Austin into aqua blue water in the middle of summer(wearing khakis and dress clothes), convincing strangers to come paint balling in an abandoned military camp in Budapest, and exploring a cave in Missouri! Oh and currently taking a 2 month road trip that started off as business trip but has turned into so much more.

Many more to do and will taking 3 months off to explore the world upon achieving a goal I've had since eighteen.

Teach, Learn, Share

Travel, meet new people and share experiences! As much as the media loves to drive divides, we're all human and figuring things out as we go.

Greatest advice: do the hard things; they will be treacherous and mentally taxing however if done correctly and often, your life will be forever be changed. Ex. Dropping out of College as an Indian(dots, not feathers) is highly frowned upon. However I knew deep down this was the right decision for me. Listen to your gut, it somehow knows what you want. Cliche as heck but oddly true in so many instances.

Stay at hostels as well as Couch surf to meet cool people, and best of both world. Check in at hostel make friends and then bounce back to this esp. longer trips. Talk to everyone and you will meet fascinating people and get great recommendations!

What I Can Share with Hosts

People say I'm a great listener and I'd love to hear your story, what drives you and what are your dreams/aspirations. Sometimes it helps us gain clarity in our own lives when we share with others.
There will be no judgement as your life is uniquely yours and you are good the way you are(we can always improve but being present and enjoying the moment in powerful). .

Can make some Indian lentils and few basic dishes. Teach some meditation techniques(Vipassana 1hr sessions and few others that are shorter at 10-20 min). And experiences that we may create together, exploring your city and meeting new people together!
