Overview
About Me
Hi Everyone. My name is Dhivakar and I work as a software engineer in Bangalore, India.
I was born and raised in South India. I am a passionate biker and a salsa dancer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to meet new people, hear about their travel stories, share mine, host people and hopefully get hosted when I travel. I am planning to travel more in the coming years and i find couchsurfing to be effective place to meet like minded people and making new friends.
My travel dream
Backpacking trip across south america
Biking from India to Central Asia via China. :)
Interests
I love salsa dancing. Have been dancing for the past 4 years, attending salsa congresses and taking part in competitions. Wherever i travel, the first thing i search is whether the place has a salsa scene :)
I am an avid sports person, having represented school, college and my organisation in hockey, football and table tennis.
I am a motorbike rider. I have been on many rides to the exotic himalayan region, having ridden in ladakh, spiti valley, nepal, bhutan and north-eastern india.
The travel bug caught me few years back and ever since i have tried to go to a new place outside the country every year apart from travelling within india.
