I was borne in the cost of Colombia, studied journalism in Universidad de Navarra (Spain), worked in CNN Atlanta and in Los Angeles interviewing artists from the film industry. Then worked in California for Maya Entertainment, the biggest latin film production company of the US, and then went back to Colombia to build the company I have now, David Henao Films. Before that I was in the FAC (Colombian Air Force).

I was a University teacher in two subjects, World Cinema and The Best of the European Cinema. I love movies!

The book Joy, by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the Archbishop Desmond Tutu, is one of my recent favorites!

There is also a very special book I read a few months ago, called A Walk Along the Ganges, by Dennison Berwick, it is an amazing journey!!!

Another book that made me travel to a place I love, was Whispers of the Himalaya. If you want to get into the world of meditation and discover what meditation means to the people of that part of the world, this can easily be, your best first step!

If we are going to meet, then its better to share this part of the story, walking the city or in the mountains, enjoying a tea or cofee, an ice cream or a glass of wine, or having dinner! Yes, that is what life is about!

As a journalist I understand very well the current situation of my Country and the region, can share about my travels, my experience in the Colombian Air Force or my experience as a journalist in CNN in Atlanta and Los Angeles, but more than teaching and learning, It would be great to share the moment in a spontaneous conversation.

I also have a Facebook Page called David Henao Fitness. I can share fitness knowledge too! Also a Youtube channel with the same name, that has received more than three million visits. So healthy eating and living is something I also love!
