art school, psychology & marketing major, yoga teacher, web designer & developer, mac addict, snowboarder. I have a very soft spot in my heart for Italian, speak Italian, French & Romanian fluently, learning Spanish, would like to learn Sanskrit and Greek. I love classical music, new age, electronica, rock, ITALIAN music, miss playing piano, love Renaissance art, aspiring towards the middle path that the Mahayana Buddhism talks about, traveler, SNOWBOARDER, CROSS FITTER, PALEO. Love dogs.

We hosted a lot of people. Taking some time off now, to travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unofficially, as in not part of the couchsurfing.org, I have hosted MANY!!! Temporary haven for friends and uprooted acquaintances, from 5 days to 6 weeks... I have couchsurfed as a preamble to us moving to Boulder, CO, and I met some AWESOME people! That's the whole purpose isn't it?
To me, it's about meeting people in the city you want to learn more about, or the city you want to move to. I am going with the flow more, so that's why I'm here.

Interests

Yoga, Buddhism, neuro-psychology, transcendental meditation, psychology, SNOWBOARDING, oil painting, riding my bike/triathlons, cooking, science (the brain, interplanetary mechanics, quantum theory, NASA, National Geographic, ROBOTICS, you know, total geek), reading sci-fi, watching sci-fi shows/movies. Basically, a sci-fi/science geek, grounded in reality, making the best of this life, and FINALLY following my true calling/path.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seen: Paris, Berlin, Ingolstadt (where they build audis), Geneva, Bonn, Havana, Toronto, San Francisco, New York, Boston, Niagara Falls, The Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Roswell...
New additions: Dublin and the rest of Ireland, London and some parts of England, Toulouse, Greece, Italy.

Learned Italian in 3 months, watching tv, after which I was hired as a translator for an Italian company.
I did modeling in Geneva & in Atlanta (in what feels like a lifetime ago:-)
Walked through the streets of Berlin and Paris alone, listening to the people, enjoying the rain, looking at the people which create the place...
Seen Havana, Cuba
Survived the tail end of a hurricane with a drunk captain and sick crew (sailboat);
Seen 2.5 continents. Want to see more.
Would like to make it to New Zeeland one of these days. India, Cambodia, Thailand, and Nepal are next on my list...
