About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I've been back and forth in Berlin since 2013 and am just getting back now. I plan to stay a while this time

I'm currently hunting for a flat with one of my good friends I met through CS. The moment we get our own flat I'll be delighted to host! I'm always happy to meet new people because Couchsurfing is basically how I met majority of my Berlin friends. The more the merrier. :)

ABOUT ME

I like to think of myself as a pretty positive person.
My personal philosophy is: Things can only be as good or bad as you make them. So why not have a good time?

I've worked in Berlin since 2013 with just a 1 year hiatus in Australia where I drove my campervan across the outback for 5 months. Easily, one of the best experiences of my life.

PHILOSOPHY

Vagabonding is about looking for adventure in normal life, and normal life within adventure. -Vagabonding by Tim Ferriss

The most dangerous risk of all - the risk of spending your life not doing what you want on the bet you can buy yourself the freedom to do it later.
- Randy Komisar

My darling girl, when are you going to realize that being "normal" is not necessarily a virtue? It sometimes rather denotes a lack of courage.
-Aunt Frances

I always wonder why birds stay in the same place when they can fly anywhere on the earth. Then I ask myself the same question.
-Harun Yahya

Those who are willing to fail miserable will achieve greatly.
-Robert F. Kennedy

Those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
-Dr. Seuss

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Whenever people ask me about traveling I somehow always drive the conversation towards Couchsurfing. Whether it's sleeping on someone's couch or just meeting up for coffee, I'm on here because I can't imagine traveling without it.

....I talk about this website so much, I sometimes wonder myself if I work for Couchsurfing because undoubtedly sound like I am trying to sell it.

Interests

I love acroyoga, ultimate frisbee, scuba and would love to learn Spanish and how to play guitar. At this point in my life those are my focuses.

Other things I'm interested are swimming, volley ball, snowboarding and I'm all about poker. If you get me started talking about poker, we'll both have problems trying to get me to stop....

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I'm into the same indie stuff that probably every other unique hipster is into. Additionally, I love some soul, jazz and oldies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked on farms in Hawaii.

Something amazing about me is that I went Skydiving two years ago for the first time ever! It was such a thrilling experience that I've now done for a second time in Hawaii and can't stress enough that the first time is a thrill but the second time is so much better! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

The best advice I've ever learned is:

Don't make promises when you're happy, don't respond when you're angry and don't make decisions when you're sad.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Chuck Norris jokes.
