ABOUT ME
Recently Returned Peace Corps Volunteer from Sierra Leone. Prior to that, I worked in Finance for General Electric. I'm practical and responsible, but also adventurous and willing to challenge convention to find fulfillment in my life. My Sierra Leonean host family aptly named me Mahbeh, which allegedly means "to observe before acting," and they were right on. I tend to be reserved until I know my audience and surroundings (or have a few drinks). The upside is that I haven't found many places where I don't feel at home or people with whom I can't get along. Also, I think too much. And I like water. A lot.

- The 60 seconds right after I would assign a practice problem to my Sierra Leonean students, and they would all be attempting to solve it on their own
