About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Deciding whether to settle down in this nice corner of the world or go walkabout. Learning Irish. It'd be nice to read more. Tried a little bikepacking this year and would love to do some more.

ABOUT ME
I live just outside the market town of Skibbereen in the south west of Ireland - a vibrant region which has a healthy mix of diverse people, beautiful coastline, local food and plenty of arts whilst still being essentially rural.

Growing food is one of my big hobbies and I work with a company in the area who specialise in supplying organic farmers.

I'm fairly introverted and struggle a bit in crowds but otherwise sociable and easygoing. I'd take a deep chat over a heap of shouting in a pub. I'm very conscientious and like taking care of people. Sometimes I'm a bit too blunt but working on that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I usually host more than surf as I'm not travelling so much and it's nice to vampire the good vibes from people who are. Love the concept of making the world an easier place to get around. I don't care if you don't read my profile and just want somewhere to sleep.

We might forage for mushrooms depending on the time of year.
I want to learn to cook better.
Trying to improve my posture and get deeper into yoga. Help appreciated.
