About Me
CURRENT MISSION
making a positive impact in the world while living fully and having fun
ABOUT ME
I'm generally a mix of goofy and serious, idealistic and critical, self-sacrificing and egotistical, and so on. I get along well with most people. My best friend says I can talk to anyone about three topics: cats, yoga and peeing. I'm not grossed out or surprised easily, and love to talk about everything from relationships to spirituality to patriarchy and racism. I prefer silence to small talk.
PHILOSOPHY
Pretty open and expansive, and always evolving. I'd rather talk about it than write about it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Mmm, can I write a few?Watching a homeless man's face light up as snow fell in New Orleans.Seeing the sun glisten off the water as I ate fresh fish and climbed sand dunes at the Reserva Nacional de Paracas, Peru. Pushing past knee pain to climb my way through Cinque Terre, Italy, and having the pain actually go away once I'd made my decision to not be stopped by it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Skills: poppin' a squat anywhere, bumming cigarettes, getting lostLike to learn: more about popular education, more about participatory social research, Portuguese Ok, so this might not seem like an even exchange...
