Overview
About Me
I currently try to find myself. Yes I know, I am right here but on a deeper level ;) What are my passions, what do I wanna do and what is my purpose in this amazing life. I finished my master in engineering (production more or less) two years ago after which I went travelling and learned so much about myself; personality and spirituel wise. I returned back home to Denmark 6 months ago and now I try to figure out what I should do to fill my life with purpose in this society.
Besides that, then I love to keep myself healthy by eating proper food, exercise and meditate. Health to me comes both from the inside and outside. At the moment I read about ayurveda and find it very interesting.
I love having amazing conversations about more or less anything. Tell me something I don't know and I'll be happy :) I want to have great conversations with all kinds of people because everyone can teach me something.
Quick info:
- I don't like food waste so I dumpster dive
- I meditate 2 hours every day
- I love nature
- Sometimes I can be a bit too opinionated (good to know opportunities for personal development)
- I once walked 5 kilometers backwards in Switzerland (why not?)
- I would like to live simple
- I try my best to be here in this very moment. Enjoy every second. Be thankful.
- "Everything in the right amounts"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's an awesome way to meet new people and LEARN so many new things. There is no doubt that it is local people who can teach me most about the country I'm travelling in. Experiences from couch surfing have given me so many valuable and loving moments. Thank you.
Interests
I have many interests and I love to get more, maybe you can "give" me one of yours.
In general it is about being healthy and happy and keep on developing as a person.
Yoga, meditation, going for walks, enjoy a cup of coffee in good company, meaningful relationships, deep conversations, biking, simple living, cooking, sharing and caring, giving, showing and receiving love, understanding through knowledge.
One year ago I attended my first vipassana meditation course and that has truly changed my life. Thank you. I will of course love to share my experiences if you would want :)
I don't drink alcohol, I try not to eat too much pasta, pizza (wheat more or less), refined sugar, processed food but I am not a fanatic. Everything in the right amounts. I prefer not eating meat but sometimes I eat fish.

Music, Movies, and Books
I used to listen to music quite often but I have to say I don't really do it anymore and if I do I just turn on the radio. So I'm sorry, I probably won't have much to say on that topic, haha. I do love however to put on a dancing song and just go nuts (alone mostly).
I like listening to podcasts.
Movies, I'm so sorry I know many people love them but I rarely watch movies. However, that also means that it is very easy to find a movie if we would wanna watch one together because most likely I haven't seen it ;) Just no horror please.
I like reading especially if I can learn something at the same time but that doesn't mean it has to be non-fiction all the time. I like many things and I'm one of those people who read until the end unless it is a really bad book.
Teach, Learn, Share
"Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I’ll meet you there" - Rumi
I hope to develop my ability to meet, talk and listen to people in way free of judgement even more. Every day is an opportunity for self development. That is also one the reasons why I enjoy hitch hiking because that really challenges my capability of being open minded and puts me out of my comfort zone.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to learn and to teach about cultures, countries, people, spirituality, sustainability - aaah more or less anything, really :D I also really like to cook so of course I would love to share that as well. I will treat your home like it deserves with proper care and respect. And I am not afraid to clean.
