I'm a friendly, welcoming individual. I love to learn, and explore new places. I also like to document these places through my photography. All I want is to have a good time and have fun. I love hearing stories about people, and their lives. I enjoy social drinking. I enjoy sports like rock-climbing, softball, skiing and frisbee! I'm very happy, and curious all the time. I am a great cook (I will cook for you), and live a healthy life. I am a minimalist, and do not own much. I'm very understanding of mental health, and other kinds of issues. If you don't like that I am part of the queer community, don't host me! I like to be around open-minded, smart individuals. I have a dark sense of humor, and can be sarcastic.

Interests

I have a strong interest in the arts. Particularly, design, theater, film, and photography. I also enjoy poetry, bonfires, camping, knowledge, science, marine biology, and researching.

Music, Movies, and Books

If I had to pick a favourite band it would be Brand New. I do have a diverse taste in music though, so a few other artists I enjoy are: Purity Ring, The Weeknd, Odesza, etc;

As for recent movies, I was impressed by Moonlight. I generally prefer thought-provoking movies.

I read many, many books. However, my preference is usually non-fiction books about psychology, society, science, and history. I also like poetry, and some fiction books I like are the Harry Potter series, Kurt Vonnegut,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2008 I was open about my sexuality, I did something that I had no idea impacted people. Fast-forward to 2017, and I ran into someone that I went to high school with. They thanked me profusely for paving the way for other people. I had no idea that my actions helped so many people.
