ABOUT ME

I enjoy{ed} travelling, I started in 1978 at 19 with a van. I have been temporarily stopped by having 4 children, although I have taken them to a few places. I would like to take them to India, but they are getting older quickly! I haven't searched the whole of the site yet but so far I have not seen anyone else my age, I hope there are older people out there!
I would like to visit Madagascar, Eygpt and a safari park.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just think it is so much better to find a friendly face at the end of a journey and it makes a visit so much more enjoyable if you have someone to help and advise and sometimes go with you to visit places also it will be great for my children to hear other peoples stories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not had this sort of couchsurfing experience with a website and a name but I have backpacked and travelled and stayed with people I met travelling either there and then or going back also I have had many people I met either travelling or here in England stay with me over the years .

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite movie-Blade Runner. I love Science Fiction. I love films, all sorts. I like Tarantino especially Natural Born Killers and Pulp Fiction. Books, Jane Eyre Black Beauty and a lot of other more brainy books whose names escape me right now as children are talking to me as I type and also since I had them a lot of my brain seems to be on hold!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A rainbow over the Grand Canyon and meeting an alchemist at dawn in Burma, flying into Katmandu Airport, running around Paris New Year, and Dublin
just for the hell of it, in the early hours.
Going horse riding in the early morning before any is up. Walking in the Black Mountains in Wales where you can feel how ancient they are. Driving through Arizona looking at all the rock formations.
