My mission is to enjoy life and all that everyone I meet has to offer.

ABOUT ME

All about me? Well that could take forever. When I am happy, tired, or anything other than coasting through life I often tend to rant quite a bit. I was very shy growing up and went against the grain of that and became a cheerleader, class officer, and did many other extroverted things that broke that cycle. Sometimes it will creep up on me in an uncomfortable situation but I usually overcome it.

I am very dedicated to the things that I attempt to do and pursue. If you look up my astrological sign I am a Taurus, which while I do not follow astrology down to the very detail I have found that I do fall somewhat into a stereotypical personality. I am stubborn and stick to my decisions...I am very open minded however and do like to think things through every scenario before I make that decision. I am a creature of habit and it helps create a comfort zone...but I do like to mix it up and be spontaneous because life would be too boring if I did not. I guess overall while I typically fall into a stereotype, I do like to still go against the grain and push myself to new limits.

I work very hard and want the company I work for to succeed...everything I do can affect the company...and it is involves other people and their livelihoods. I love to get out whenever possible for any type of adventure...stuff I have done includes hiking, camping, spelunking, digging for aquamarine, riding on the back of a dirt bike (hanging on for dear life when hitting small jumps), parasailing, scuba diving, rock climbing, snorkeling, horseback riding (I grew up on a ranch), snowshoeing, fishing, river floating, and a few more. I want to go bungee jumping, skydiving, cave diving and ice diving and shark diving, some real rock climbing, and if something is suggested probably that too. It is also fun to just hang out, have dinner parties, watch movies, go do a fun group thing like bowling or shoot pool.

PHILOSOPHY

I strive to do my best at anything I pursue. Since that usually means working hard and a dedication to my work...on the flip side I just want to have fun when I am not working and explore the place(s) I live and meet people who have the same interests.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haha, fabulous! I have been going to the weekly Buddy Beers meeting. You should come...it is awesome. I have had one person sleep on my couch. My dogs are hyper and will want your attention being someone new...but overall they are good and friendly.

音乐、电影和书籍

Well, lets keep this short...I love sci-fi and action films. I really enjoy a lot of independent films that just make you thinks. Drama is good but it does depend on my mood. A chick flick is always good when I am down or feeling mentally drained. Oh, I also really enjoy anime.

Music, I like alternative rock, classical, nature sounds, rock, blues...anything with clever lyrics, great soothing beats/sounds, and just something that fits my mood at the time.

Books...I wish I made more time for. I have enjoyed A Tale of Two Cities, The Stranger, The Horse Whisperer, Their Eyes Were Watching God, and a few others I can't recall. There is no set theme really but I do not like a too difficult read usually...something well written that has well developed characters.

Essentially, nothing too vulgar...I don't mind nudity or anything that involves sex so long as it is tasteful and pertinent to the story.
