I am a 26 year old attorney living in Chicago for the past 4+ years. Prior to that, I lived in Michigan, with a couple of short stints in Pennsylvania and Mississippi.

My biggest passions are travel and music. I have traveled to almost every state in the U.S. and to 30 countries, primarily in Europe and Central America. Some of the most interesting places I've traveled to include Tallinn, Belgrade, Zagreb, and Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture in China. If I were to move outside of the U.S., I would love to live in London or Berlin.

The majority of my travels have been solo trips. When I travel alone, I like to stay in hostels because it gives me the opportunity to meet other travelers from all around the world. These travelers have become my friends in Germany, New Zealand, Australia, England, Canada, and Russia, to name a few countries.

I would love to meet fellow travelers even when I do not have the opportunity to travel. That's why I have signed up to be a host on Couchsurfing.

Since I am working full time, I will be away from my apartment during the day. However, I would love to take my guests out for a drink/dinner, to explore the city, to concerts, to museums, or to participate in any other activity of their interest in the evenings.

I am a big foodie and am on a constant mission to try all of the greatest restaurants and bars in the city. Depending on my guests' food and drink preferences, I am certain that I can recommend a restaurant or bar that they will enjoy.

After living in the city for over four years, I have become familiar not only with the tourist attractions here but also with the smaller neighborhoods and communities, each with its own vibe and offerings. I would love to show my guests some of these local spots that they otherwise may not have discovered on their own.
