I'm a very open and cheerful person, who likes to laugh. Always curious about the world, I like trying out new and exciting things. It's broadening my horizons and inspires me. Sometimes I can be a little shy, but it's wonderful, getting to know new people and their stories. Sometimes, if there's a special connection, it's great to (deep-) talk till dawn. But sometimes, I also need and enjoy time for myself. Friends say about me, that I am very kind, honest and a good listener. I love music and dancing, being in or by the water, but also feeling the wind at high altitude.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always wanted to travel - since 2021, I'm realising this dream, whether alone or in company. I'm testing different ways of traveling, that are new to me. I signed up for Couchsurfing to meet like-minded people and make contacts worldwide. Above all, I would like to meet local people in different countries, who would like to show me their homeland and can give me an authentic insight in their life. And I also want to improve my language skills.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kind of music, that I enjoy or that triggers feelings in me. I don't want to commit myself to only one direction. There are tendencies towards rock, pop, alternative and indie, but I also like many oldies, metal, musicals, some electro or classic. It always depends on the situation and mood.

Some of my favorite movies are Into the Wild, The Hobbit, Batman, Asterix, Her, The Fall, Alexander, Mad City, Sherlock Holmes... and there are so many more.

Unfortunately, I read far too little these days. But when I do, I read thrillers or true, inspiring stories, philosophical or other books, that make me think or support my personal growth.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked between rice fields and in the jungle of Thailand and Vietnam, I jumped off a boat (about six metres high), visited a wonderful night market in Hoi An, bathed with elephants, skydived, saw the Grand Canyon, stood on the top of a waterfall, stayed in a little yoga retreat... And I've met so many different and interesting people, locals or other travellers, talked with them about their lives, ideas, dreams... It was often very inspiring. I am so happy and thankful, was allowed to collected so many gorgeous memories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My company, good vibes, nice (deep-) talks and my friendly and open mind. I like to cook and bake and would also serve a meal for my host. We can dance together, sing, play music, be creative, hike, do yoga, party or try new things. But we can also just spend a good time and chill. I'm a good listener and also happy to share my experiences and knowledge.
