About Me
I am probably a pretty normal girl, going to Uni, going out with friends, dancing whenever I can, contemplating life and what I want to be when I grow up.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My couchsurfing experiences so far have been absolutely amazing! You just get to know a place so much better when staying and spending time with locals. You don't feel like a tourist, but more like you're visiting a friend in a new city.
Aand, let's be honest, I am a student and traveling can be expensive.
I live in a house with 6 flatmates right now, which I absolutely love, but we don't really have a living room with a couch and my room is pretty small, so I can only host people that I have gotten to know a little bit, cause we would be sharing my tiny room :)
Interests
Travelling, I love good food and cooking and what it does to body and soul, I love the outdoors and discovering nature, getting to know different cultures, philosophies and religions, I love dancing whenever, whereever , I wanna be a teacher so education is something I am interested in, I love all kinds of movies and books, going to the theater, museums...I can get excited about a lot of things
And I have a weird love for houses, I could walk around all day and housewatch

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all kinds of music, from classic to rock. Lately, I have even started to like Metal since my flatmate listens to it all the time, but maybe that's just self-preservation :D
Movies...soo many, recently "Room" made me bawl my eyes out, "Deadpool" had me in tears laughing, "Fight Club" blew my mind and "Out of Africa" made me fall asleep...
One I am reading over and over again is "Pride and Prejudice" always and forever favorite, she is pretty witty for a 200-year-old woman, I love her
If you have any book recommendations, let me know, I am kind of in a reading blockage lately, haven't read a book that has really gotten under my skin in a while now
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Getting up at 3am for a hike all by myself and then watch the sun come up on one side of the mountain and the rain coming over the ridge on the other made me cry a little and realize how small I am and how unbelievably lucky...I am a walking thinking feeling human being, born in Germany never really doubting that everything is always going to be fine in the end...I don't know how I got so lucky, that's pretty amazing to me.
Teach, Learn, Share
Couchsurfing tells you to look for compatibility, but I would also love to meet people who are completely different from me, but open to get to know other views, interests, life-styles without judgement and can let people be people...
Getting out of your comfort zone and into unknown territory can be pretty exciting and rewarding :)
On the other hand it can be pretty amazing to meet another you on the other side of the world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Me and my personality, my views, my humor (I am always up for a good belly laugh), my ear if you need it or I just leave you in peace. I don't necessarily need anyone to entertain me if you don't want to, but a nice chat would be great :)
And I am a pretty decent cook I think, soo...
