About Me
New to CS! I'm a young(ish) professional taking a break from work to travel for a few months. I've made it a habit to travel internationally at least once a year for vacation, but this is the first time that I'll be traveling independently and without a fixed timeline.
Update - I've been traveling for over a year now and love it. I spent a few months in Central and South America and am now in China slowly working my way over to South East Asia. I'd love to keep practicing my Chinese and Spanish, so if you'd like a language partner, I'm down!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While I certainly make time to see the well-known/tourist sites, I like to spend at least an equal amount of time hanging out at local spots just people watching or chatting with locals. CS seems to be a great way of doing that and meeting like-minded people!
Interests
All things food. Cooking, eating, feeding others, discovering new foods.
Local craftsmanship, artwork that's unique to a region or culture.
Learning about new cultures, similarities and differences. Understanding what influences contribute(d) to the place, people, culture, etc.
