About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore every corner of the earth, meet amazing people, and eat many foods!
ABOUT ME
I may seem quiet at first but once I get comfortable I become very talkative. I am optimistic, curious, and an observer. I am a student at Texas State University, and I am trying to take as many courses as I can abroad. I love meeting people so I would rather have someone get to know me in person. I am overall a very happy person. (:
PHILOSOPHY
“We travel for romance, we travel for architecture, and we travel to be lost.” -Ray Bradbury
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just joined CS and I am quickly loving what it has to offer. I'm trying to attend as many events as I can and I can't wait to have my own apartment again so I can host travelers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far my experiences with CS have been amazing. I keep meeting people who are a lot like me and enjoy being adventurous as much as I do. Everyone has been extremely friendly and have made me want to keep being active in CS.
Interests
I am passionate and curious about cultures. I love learning new languages. Currently I am working on improving my French and Japanese. I also enjoy watching films and going to concerts, which brings me to instruments: Not only do I like listening to people play instruments, I also enjoy learning to play. I play some flute and am learning to play guitar. I absolutely love singing! But it does not mean I am good at it. I'm actually kind of bad. I sing all the time, in the shower, while I'm driving, in my room, when I'm cleaning, while cooking... But I will not do it in front of people. Maybe if I'm having a few drinks and we are doing karaoke then I'll sing along in public.
I love listening to people's life stories. And most importantly, I love food. I love trying new cuisines.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am always up for watching a movie. I love going to the cinema or having dinner and a movie at home. Some of my favorite movies are, but not limited to: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, 10 Things I Hate About You, Y Tu Mamá También, Romeo and Juliet, Pan's Labyrinth, Say Anything..., Clueless, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Sin Nombre, Goodfellas, Moonrise Kingdom, Toy Story, Spirited Away, Amélie, Into the Wild, Pulp Fiction, Dare Mo Shiranai, The Science of Sleep, The Lion King, Ghost Word, and well my list goes on and on.
Of course I love music. Almost all genres. Recently, I have been getting into learning to sing and play some Spanish songs on the guitar.
Fav artists: Circa Survive, The Distillers, Café Tacvba, Bower Birds, Hello Seahorse!, Monsters Of Folk, Deftones, Carla Morrison, Pomegranates, The Smashing Pumpkins, Maná, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Los Románticos de Zacatecas, Conor Oberst... and millions more!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While I was in Japan my host family took me out to eat at a restaurant next to the ocean. The waiter brought me a plate that had a big live shrimp on it. I poked it with my chopsticks and it jumped off my plate, then my host-father put it back on my plate and told me to take off the head and eat it.
It was the most delicious shrimp I have ever eaten.
I am fortunate to have seen many amazing things in life, especially while growing up. There is always something out there that will surprise me though. I think I am still very young and have so much more to see.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am willing to exchange my English and Spanish for any other languages.
Also, I love cooking and baking so exchanging recipes would be grand! I'd love to meet people who will give me a few tips on playing guitar.
