About Me

I have a deep appreciation for nature and love exploring new destinations. Meeting new people is one of my favorite things, and I always look forward to learning about different cultures and traditions. My husband is my travel partner and we enjoy exploring new places together. I'm easy-going and believe that kindness goes a long way. I'm excited to connect with fellow Couchsurfers and look forward to hosting or being hosted on our travels!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and believe that getting to know different places can be some of the most enriching experiences in life, and Couchsurfing offers a unique opportunity to do just that.

Through Couchsurfing, I hope to connect with locals and other travelers who can offer insights and perspectives that I may not have considered before. Whether it's trying new foods, exploring off-the-beaten-path destinations, or simply chatting with someone from a different background, these experiences can broaden your horizons and help you learn and grow in ways you may not have expected.

I think Couchsurfing is an incredible platform for connecting with others, discovering new places, and expanding your worldview.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies soundtracks are my favorite kind of music. I'm a movie junkie although I avoid the scary ones. I love books but mostly novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have carried pine trees in my shoulders and made walls with horse shit and sand. If that doesn't impress you I don't know what will.

Teach, Learn, Share

Since I am a native Spanish speaker I can teach Spanish language basics, such as greetings and useful phrases for traveling; I'm also a Lawyer so I can provide (hopefully) interesting conversations on Politics, Philosophy, and Sociology, and help you out if you find yourself in a sticky situation in Colombia.

To share, I can give insights into Colombia's culture, traditions, and customs, my travel experiences, and what I've learned during my time on this Earth. I love history and philosophy, so I can share some interesting facts and theories I have learned. I also know about environmental causes in my country, and am currently living in Canada and studying Computer Programming, so I can share my experiences in those areas.

I would love to learn as much as I can during my travels. Different points of view and experiences, people's cultural backgrounds, unique skills and hobbies, other ways to live and understand the world, the local cuisine, and traditional dishes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love talking to people and learning from them. I'm very friendly, can talk about anything from day's end, and love a good debate now and then. I can also show you some delicious Colombian food, some inside into our politics and culture, and since I'm a Lawyer that loves nature and working on farms maybe some laughs.
