Overview
About Me
Hey there! I'm Diana, a 28-year-old IT business analyst lucky enough to work remotely. This flexibility allows me to pursue my passion for travel. Last year, I explored South America (Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil) for six months, and in 2022, I ventured to Thailand for another exciting adventure. During my studies, I lived in Georgia and South Korea :)
I love meeting new people, immersing myself in different cultures, and seeking out interesting local events wherever I go. If you have any tips on must-see places or exciting happenings, I'd love to hear about them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe in the power of connecting with people and experiencing destinations through the eyes of locals. Traveling is not just about visiting places; it's about understanding cultures and building meaningful connections.
Couchsurfing provides a unique opportunity to immerse myself in different communities, share stories, and create lasting friendships.
Interests
oh I have many!
Firstly, there's my love for cooking. I'm always thrilled to experiment with new recipes, sharing delicious meals with friends and family. I've taken my culinary curiosity beyond my local kitchen, attending cooking classes wherever I can, both in my country and abroad. And guess what? I've recently discovered that baking is just as exciting
Dance has taken center stage in my life this year. I've dived into the worlds of bachata, kizomba, and salsa, attending classes and never missing a bachata party. It's pure joy!
Learning Spanish became a personal quest after a first day in Uruguay stole my heart. I'm still on that journey, aiming to speak fluently.
Then there's my piano escapade. I'd asked my parents to send me to music school as a child, but plans changed. Well, I finally took matters into my own hands and started recently. It's become my meditation space, and I'm loving every note.
Beyond typical hobbies, I'm deeply involved with dogs. Volunteering at a dog shelter and providing foster homes is more of a heartfelt commitment than a hobby.
And, of course, there's the evergreen love for traveling. No need to say much here😊

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in books leans towards the dystopian, with "Atlas Shrugged" standing out as a personal favorite. War-themed books also captivate my interest. Yet, when it comes to cherished authors, E.M. Remarque and Murakami are at the top of my list!
When it comes to music, I'm an all-genre enthusiast—no preferences.
As for movies, I'm equally versatile, ranging from animated delights to chilling horrors, depending on my mood. But I must say, "The Office" holds a special place as the absolute best in my eyes! 😄
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Decided to travel alone :))
