About Me

Hey! I'm Diana from Hungary and I love meeting new people almost as much as I love learning new languages. I study Sociology in Budapest and I want to work on a social problem in the future. My big goal is to travel to Latin-America, but I am particularly interested in Cuba.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think this is a really great opportunity to meet local people and get a real glimpse into the city you are currently visiting with the help of your host. From my point of view sharing your culture is a really fun thing to do through for example cooking typical food of your country or even just talking about customs.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love latin styles such as salsa, bachata, cha-cha or Cuban son but definitely my favourite is reggaeton. My favourite bands are Calle Vapor (from Argentina), La Movida Cuba (from Cuba haha) and Buena Vista Social Club. Music is extremely important in my life and I think there is no life without it.
Movies.. hmm.. I like romantic, drama and comedy films. My last favourites were Murder Mystery, High Sea (Alta mar) and Money Heist (La casa de Papel).
I always loved books that are really interesting like a great story but these day I prefer movies or series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to work in Mallorca, Spain this summer and it was super amazing.!I was an animator in a hotel and working with adults and kids all day. On my days off I was travelling the island. I honestly loved the weather and the mentality of the Spanish people: so easygoing and opened.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My bright personality, of course! Joking.. :P To be serious, I consider myself a really open-minded person so what I can share with hosts are great conversations, my culture and maybe some trips together since I love doing active holidays!
