Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Either because of movies or because of books, visiting different places has always fascinated me, since I was little. As I've grown I've realised there are specific ways I like to travel: with friends, little baggage, as away from the touristic spots as possible and always trying to include some (a lot of) nature and local culture and people along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

Choosing favorites is a tough task for me - I adore different things for different reasons and the lists grow imensily. But if the criterea for favorite is what I love and when re-watch/read/listen still makes me feel the same as when I first contacted with it then some of my favorite films are: Cinema Paradiso, Citizen Kane, Hunger and Howl's Moving Castle and I also praise every Hitchcock movie I've ever seen; some of my favorite books are: The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Last Night Of The Earth Poems and The Fish Can Sing, although I should include Boris Vian and Dostoievski as some of my other favorite authors; and some of my favorite music artists are: Sigur Rós, LCD Soundsytem, Devendra Banhart, Chet Baker and Nick Drake, but I should add that my first two loves were in fact Queen and Tchaikovsky, from when I was 4 or 5 years old (little after that I started dancing Ballet).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to Italy for 3 weeks with my friends (it hasn't happened yet and I already know it will redefine "amazing")

I'm a geek for cinema facts and I guess I can teach you the basics of basics of Ballet or contemporary dance, if you would like, and I'm willing to learn about everything!

We can obviously share a lot of conversations and meals (food, specially, is very important for my definition of civilization - both cooking and eating, of course)!
