About Me
I define myself as an enthusiastic and passionate woman. I LOVE meeting people and new places. I enjoy making friends out of strangers.
I am from Bogota Colombia, currently living in Berlin, Germany. Came to this Country on October 2017 to do my Master in Business Administration MBA and now I am working as a Business Development Manager for a German Fintech. Besides from Bogota I have also lived in The USA in a beautiful city called Bloomington, state of Indiana. I studied English there and the experience I had developed my passion for traveling.
Living abroad has changed my perspective of life and has made me realise my potential and explore my inner self. Every time I travel and visit a new place, try a new food, make a tour, read about history etc. I can feel how my life gets richer and my senses delighted. I am extremely grateful that I can experience this and would like to give back some of the generosity received from many CSs that have hosted me in the last years.
If you want to stay in my place please take in mind the following considerations:
1. I only hosts on weekends (Friday to Sunday) because I want to have the opportunity to get to know my guests and spend quality time together. During the week I am quite busy unfortunately.
2. If someone else is coming with you, please include his/her name and CS profile in the request. I will not accept someone else unless it was approved in the request.
3. I am super organized and clean and would like you to keep the apartment in the conditions you found it.
4. I will not give you keys of the apartment, so we need to arrange our schedules to make it work.
5. I will provide you a sofa bed in the living room where you'll be comfty :)
If you are into cooking it will be nice to learn about traditional dishes from your country and make them together!
As a prove that you've read all please include "follow your heart" in your request. Otherwise, I will not consider it ;)
Thank you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I used to work in a bank few years ago, as a credit card product specialist. One day, I received a phone call from a client. She was a woman that submitted an application for a credit card in a bank's branch. The bank rejected her application because she had cancer and her health situation was complicated. I can recall she sounded really desperate at the phone and she told me that she needed to pay a surgery in order to follow her treatment. That was the reason for her to request he credit card. She wasn't planning to spend the money traveling or shopping but paying her medical treatment because she had not health insurance. I was very touched by her story but I had little to do since I worked in marketing. Nevertheless, I talked to my manager and told her the woman's situation. She was very touched as well and decided take me to talk with the Bank's Vice President. I explained him the situation and told him we could help this woman and eventually save her life giving her the money she was asking for. He agreed with us and gave his authorization to approve the credit card. A few months later the woman called me again and thanked me. She could have the surgery and was getting better :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I was part of a foundation called Healing Colombia and volunteer myself as an english teacher for children in need. I haven't taught before but I think the kids enjoyed my class since they kept coming every week. However, I have plenty of things to learn to become a really good teacher.
