Hi! I am Ukrainian who live in Virginia now, I came here after the war in Ukraine started. My husband was born in America, but originally he is coming from Afghanistan.
I traveled around European countries and I have already seen the USA a bit. Interesting, if you have the same feeling about trips, because for me it's a way to open my mind and to observe myself in uncomfortable, new situations

I love to laugh, to cook dishes from different countries, to do yoga and to meditate, I love animals and nature in general. My perfect evening is when we go to ride a bike in a park. I enjoy photography, video filming and editing.
I am open-minded, I love people and I like to know more what they are going through. I prefer deep conversation to a plain one.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I use this app to open the world and find people like me. I believe this is the best way to find locals, who gently could guide us to see more in their city. I usually have a tendency to feel comfortable at home, but I want to see much more then my 4walls could ever be so… Here I am, on Couchsurfing.

I don’t watch movies often because I consider most of the popular modern films to be a waste of time, but! There are many good ones, I love to watch historical movies and Anime from Miadzaki studio (hopefully I spelled it right)z

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn languages, really. I learned French, English and in the process of learning Dari. I teach my husband Ukrainian language and he is getting there fast! If you are ever interested in languages and a good way to learn it easy and fast - you are welcome to ask me)
