I am a colombian girl (Hometown: Barranquilla), who just move to Mexico city to study my master in marine science and limnology. I am still getting use to the city (my city is small and warm) but I love it, and I want to show you why I love it.

I like couchsurfing philosophy,
I don´t always have the chance to travel, but I feel like I travel to different countries whenever I host someone.
It doesn´t matter if I let someone stay at my place or if we just walk around, listen stories about their trips or their hometown is inspiring.
If I can not host you, maybe we can walk around.

Interests

Walk around, going for a cup of coffee or a tea and talk about why pandas are the loveliest animals in the world.

Not very into the... exercise thing... and all that, but once in a while I like to go for biking .

I like to cook and bake, In my home my sister used to cook all the time and I used to be her "Sous chef", which is why I think I learnt a lot and I relate the cooking with doing something with/for someone you care. besides, now I am living alone, so I have to cook to avoid starvation.

Until my genetics allows me to eat everything I want without regrets, I will enjoy the food... Italian (I love pasta and pizza), candies, hamburgers, ice creams, cakes, and anything I need to try at least once in my life.

I like to go out for party (why no) but is not my favorite thing. In my free time I usually go to a museum, to eat something, to walk or just stay in home and do some "netflix and chill".

I have a collection of keychains and fridge magnets of the places me or my friends visit.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music: Rock, Metal, Classic, Salsa, Vallenato, Tropical, Jazz etc... I am not the perfect dancer, but I try it and I think that is what is matters. The music you listen depends of the time that you are and for every situation, there is a song.
Watch movies, specially classics and thrillers. Also TV shows or netflix: Sex and the city, Two and a half men, Brooklyn 99, Rick and morty, Bojack, Friends, Game of thrones (Right now I can not remember more)

I like literature, and especially read the classics. Although is not very classic I have the entire collection of Harry Potter books, because I like the story. I also read all the Narnia books, because my sister loves it

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm a biology student at a public university in my city, so I travel to a lot of to nice places and I managed to see some pretty amazing places and animals.
I came to live alone to another country to study.
I visited China (in summer)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you spanish, some cooking and a little bit of salsa moves.
I can guide you or help you assemble your itinerary to go to tourist places.
We can share some time with a cup or coffee or a beer.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live in a small apartment with a roommate (From my references you will see that I used to live with Manuel, but now he is in Spain doing his PhD., he is very easy going, open and fun, if you visit Valencia He might receive you: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/biolmunoz)

Usually I host when my roommate is out for work. In that case I can offer you a couch or maybe a bed (it depends whenever she is or is not).

I am a full-time student, so maybe I won´t have much time within week to hang out, During the night or weekends we can make plans together.

HOUSE´S RULES:

* I like the order and clean things, I won´t make you clean the apartment, do not worry! But I prefer that you keep the order as much as you can; I know that is not always possible, so I am flexible with it.
* I prefer that you take out your shoes when you enter the apartment and wear your sock or flip flops.
* Always cover the toilet (with its lid) when you pull the chain.
* I do not usually leave people at my place when I am not, or give the keys. So, you will have to leave the apartment with me and I will let you know at what time I will return. There is no time limit to return, just keep me inform if you are planing to return at midnight or so.
*No smoking.
