About Me

CURRENT ADVENTURE

I am visiting a friend in NYC but she doesn't have space for me to stay with her. I will be there for the weekend and I am hoping to really experience a bit of the city. This will be my first time to NYC by myself (and hopefully my first time couch surfing).

ABOUT ME

We are fun interesting and kind of weird college students looking to meet new people and do fun things. We FINALLY have some time to travel since we just finished with school. We love meeting new people, traveling, eating, and we are pretty much up for any adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love exploring the world and meeting new people. Hostels are great but can get pretty expensive on my current budget so couch surfing is a way I can meet more people and travel longer with what I have. This would be my first time couch surfing and I am so excited to get on the road and meet some new friends.

Interests

Painting parties, and yoga sessions are our main interests. I frequently hang around an acro-yoga crew and love to practice our tricks. I love traveling and hope to visit as many places as I can before I die. Some highlights so far have been bungee jumping off Victoria Falls, befriending a leopard name Clara, hammock camping in the Redwoods, and interviewing students in Kenya.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:
I have an obsession with Woody Allen, 90s Chick Flicks, and Micheal J Fox and a love for movies in general. I have taken a few Film and Media Studies classes so I'm down to kick back and watch a flick or sit around analyze a film.

Music:
The disco generation is legendary and will live on forever in my heart. The eighties were pretty great too. I down to chill with whatever music but MJ holds a special place in my soul.

Books:
I love trashy airport novels and literature alike. I am a big fan of memoirs and have been known to write quite a bit myself. I am currently reading Strength to Love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am friends with a man who killed a lion, I have gotten up close and personal with some big cats, and befriended with a temperamental baker who makes the best bread in France when he is in a good mood. I have relatives all over the world so I been zipping across the ocean since I was a wee babe.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you anything related to art that I know (watercolor is my favorite). I know a thing or two about yoga and wold love to share my practice with you. I can also teach you some basic gymnastics.

I would love to learn about you and what you and the fair city or town in which you live. In exchange I can tell you a story or two about Berkeley. I am down to learn anything but if you know how to cook something delish or surf I will be extra attentive.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share happiness and good time.
