About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Write my master thesis and become an environmental consultant while figuring out what to do once I'm finished with my studies.
ABOUT ME
I'm a Portuguese/Brazilian girl that isn't happy living an ordinary life, I got sick of my boring life in Brazil, thus I moved to Europe with a little more than some ideas, a couple of suitcases and a lot of curiosity.
After traveling for one month in Portugal and then backpacking for 3 months, hitch-hiking and couchsurfing with my sister I moved to Germany, where I live since September 2014, meanwhile I learned German, Spanish and started my Master at the University of Cologne.
Since I'm here I already worked as AuPair, cleaning lady, cashier, phone interviewer, waitress and as a tester at the AQM team in trivago...
All experiences that added a lot to my character and made me learn how to be a better human being.
Now I'm on the process of finishing my studies and trying to figure out what to do afterwards, but one thing haven't changed, I still love traveling and couch surfing, as I always meet amazing people through it, some of them became lifetime friends with a guaranteed place in my heart.
PHILOSOPHY
Learn everything I can, the eagerness to learn and curiosity is what keeps me going no matter what.
I think the world is too big to stay in only one place the entire life, there are so many places, landscapes, cultures and people out there.
My personal philosophy is to become everyday a better person than I was the day before.
If I host you note that during the week I'm only available after I leave work, around 18:00, then we could do something together if you like.
I don't have internet at home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Why? Because couchsufing is amazing, it gives me the opportunity to meet interesting people all over the world, and even to make good friends.
Also, in my opinion, couchsurfing is an anti-capitalistic way of traveling and receiving guests, it incentives people to share without caring much about money, which makes world a better place to live. =D
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I already hosted a couple of times, although I would like to do it more often it proved to be very difficult while working and studying.
I try to surf when I can and trick friends that still haven't tried CS to do it with me, so that they convince themselves to take part into the community.
I also enjoy attending to the events and using the hang outs feature.
