ABOUT ME

I am from Bogotá, but I moved to Baltimore. Living in these two places, and having known people from different parts of the world has opened my mind in unexpected ways, this is why I would love to keep sharing and discovering different cultures and perspectives.

Besides from traveling I like trying different kinds of food, music and having enjoyable conversations.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Three friends participated in CS for a long time. Intrigued by the whole thing I decided to join the adventure, since the day I joined I have met incredible people! It is nice to know that thanks to CS now I have friendships only based in the pure interest of meeting, share and trust in others people good will.

Interests

I am deeply interested in music, literature, movies, healthy lifestyles and health systems. Also, I am keen on sharing different points of view about life and politics.

This is quite hard, but I'm pointing out my favourites:
Movies: Amelie, Requiem for a Dream, Pulp Fiction
Music: The Beatles, The Stones, RHCP, T-Rex, The White Stripes, The Black Keys, and I could go on and on...
Books: I love stories, this is why I like everything by Paul Auster, now I'm reading On the Road of Kerouac, next one Ultimo Round by Cortazar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have ever done was helping a women giving birth, seeing those tiny creatures breathing for the first time and the special bond between mother and son, is one of the most beautiful experiences I've ever had.

I would like to share music from my country and also a web page about health issues in which I was working with a bunch of other people and feel deeply proud about it http://www.asivamosensalud.org/
