About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm currently in an Educational Psychology (Early Childhood Education) graduate program through UC Denver and the Boulder Journey School. Grew up in northern Colorado & then went to school in Iowa. Since then, I've lived in Illinois & Pennsylvania, & finally moved back home two years ago. Happy to be back & starting something new.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I'm renting in someone else's house, so I'm just looking for places to couchsurf, but would love to be a host when I have my own place in the future.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm currently new to couchsurfing myself, but I used to live in a co-op that hosted couchsurfers regularly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was awarded the Young Women of Achievement Award from the Girl Scouts of the USA for my work on my Gold Award project (the highest award available through the Girl Scouts). My project was a theater piece discussing cutting and self-mutilation in young people, usually young women. For the award I was flown into Washington, D.C. to go through a series of workshops and meet my representatives. I also got to meet with someone from the Labor department and sit in a meeting with Chilean diplomats about gender and fair labor practices.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Love of discussion and sharing new experiences. I'd also love to cook meals with you. And I can bake you a chocolate cake. :)
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, England, Mexico
