About Me

Hi there!
I love traveling, not because of the places but the people! I really like to know more about other cultures and other ways of living. I'm vegetarian, I like arts (I like painting, drawing, felting wool, origami, photography... and now I'm playing the guitar). I'm a observer person. I like to see how people lives their daily lifes.
I'm a logical person, but sometimes I force myself to relax and to feel more the moments, to have more diferent experiences that make me feel more "free" from that logical desire. That's why I love traveling, because I feel my self not in the comfortable area of cotidianity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I like the alternative ways of meeting people, the alternative ways that society tries to not promove because their escape to the main way of thinking.
Because is something that people manage- obviously there's a platform that makes ir possible- without intermediates.

Interests

I like music, reading books (may be not best sellers books...)
I like to know more about culture...
I like thinking. Trying new things, I would like to be an Art therapist- one day...- and try [ "don't try it, do it, or not..."] to help estigmatized people, or may be, to help "normal" people to understand them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music... I discovered folk music (celtic music) a couple of years ago, and now I like it. I also like some singer-songwriters, ska, reggae, rock, punk.. I don't like to explain what kind of music I like, beacuse I'm not an expert defining them, and sometime depends more on the song...

Movies... I like those kind of movies that makes you think about the movie, and also about reality... I'm not sure if I have a favourite movie... but I like Tarantino's movies ( the last one I saw- Death proof- was amazing!! with that end!!! ), I also like "freedom" movies, like Into the Wild, Easy rider... And as a "movie to think" I would say... Bergman movies or Waking life by Richard Linklater... And I hate horror movies... (why people like suffering... uurgrffrgfr)
And... it is not a movie... but as a Serie is great... Black Mirror!

About books.. I'm not a best-seller fan... but there are some famous books that deeply change your point of view thing, situations... 1984, A brave new world, Herman Hesse books (Demian, Shiddarta, the steppenwolf..), Now I'm with the beat Generation (Burroughs, Gingsberg, Kerouac... ) and trying to find any book or documents of the authors (Girls) of the Beat Generation...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It cost me a lot to get know to new people, not always, but most of the time. To be more capable to open myself to people, to force myself to change the things I don't like.. 2014 summer I went to walk the "Santiago's Way" alone (Not sure about the name in English, in Spanish is "El Camino de Santiago" arround Galicia- north of Spain). Who goes there is never alone because there's a lot of people there doing the same walk, but I went without friends, I felt really good there (not at the moment that I got lost...hahahah).

May be that is not the most amazing thing that I've done... but is the one that I remember now. I also like to help people... so...I feel amazing when I get help someone, and I can see that kind of "good vibes".

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm learning now Origami (I can teach you the bit I know) ,how to play the guitar... and also I can teach you all the Spanish word you want to know, and talk to you about my country.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can do the famous Spanish Omelette! hahaha I can cook (vegetarian) spanish food (easy one, I'm a sociologist... hahah)
I can share all of my skills whit them, and my paranoid talks about life!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, China, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, United Kingdom
