Officially, I am a Biomedical Engineering Master's graduate, currently doing my PhD in Computational Image Analysis and working as a research assistant at the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg. Besides this, I like to fill my time with learning new things as scubadiving, climbing, guitar, photography, public speaking and leadership. But, of course, there is more to a person than just the visible things - that's why here are some details about myself:
- I love a good cup of green tea mixed with jasmine in an old mud cup, I like to take time with my self sitting in a hammock, especially in summery nights, climbing mountains to the top makes me feel connected to something bigger than us, diving has opened a whole new type of feeling which I want to continue pursuing, the human brain fascinates me, therefore I like to meet different types of people from all over the world (also because I noticed that fundamentally, we are all so similar).
- Among my favorite feelings: watching the night sky near a fire in the woods; contemplating a far but incoming storm on the sea, while sitting in the sand at sunset; drinking a hot self-brewed coffee under a red umbrella in the pouring rain; finding yourself out of nowhere talking more than weather or job with someone; packing your backpack; tight hugs; when you have nothing in your fridge so you just boil some pasta and throw in some tomato juice; going from not knowing how to do something to finally doing it
- Some other things that I like: kindness, tulips, old jeans, jazz, rock, a tasty cream soup, olives, sandalwood candles, dreams, a good plan, honesty, forest, people, hitchhiking with a partner, old cheese, red half-dry wine, massages, Saint Bernard and Viszla dogs, good jokes, volunteering, festivals, mountains, sunset, banana-blueberry smoothie, soft skin, street photography
