I am a musician and a music teacher from Oakland California. I am generally a home-oriented person, I enjoy my small garden and my house and kitties, but I also seek the occasional adventure. I am clean and considerate, and I like to be safe and comfortable. I love meeting new people, especially musicians and the artistically-inclined sort.

I'm here as a way to find places to stay while traveling- I'm currently in Brazil. I'm open to host too. My place in Oakland is small, one big studio room with a small guest sleeping loft. Single female travellers only.

Music! Acoustic folk music of various kinds, most things that are impossible to categorize and high quality... I have broad tastes but am surprisingly unaware of most popular music. I love accordion for it's range of possibilities outside the stereotypical polkas that many people think of-- if you want details I have a website! dianastrong.webs.com. I also love gardening and crocheting! I work with children in various capacities and that's fun to talk about too. I enjoy hiking and biking and wish I did more of those things, and dancing-- I love dancing of all sorts from modern to swing, and again, wish I did more than I do.
