I love traveling and try to live my life as freely as possible, so I can travel as much as possible. The last 3 years I have taken three travel-sabbaticals to travel a few months in Asia and took some shorter trips around the sabbaticals. Traveling and being free is addictive.......

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet people from all over the world. I love to exchange stories, learn from each others culture and talk about travel.
I've done some couchsurfing, and because I've used people's couches, someone else can stay at my couch :).

Interests

I like meeting with my friends, discussing politics and human rights, lgbt-rights, walking, volunteering, and of course, traveling. I want to explore a lifestyle of traveling more and working 'differently' or 'less'.
Sometimes I take sort of travel-sabbaticals to have a completely different life than my 9-5 life. But the more I travel, the more difficult I find it to go back to my office job. Feeling so free, the ultimate freedom when traveling. Living my life, instead of being lived when I work between four walls.... So who knows, maybe some day I ditch the 9-5 life completely :).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My sabbaticals. I've taken some time off in 2016, 2017 and 2019 and traveled around Asia.
My next sabbatical will be in 2020. Can't wait!!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Everything about the Netherlands and Europe. About my experiences traveling alone.
When you stay at my place, of course I would like to cook you a Dutch meal.
And I have a lovely cat, Toby.

When I'm working, I cannot alway accompany you, but it would be nice to have dinner together.
