Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Meditation, electronic dance music, soukous.
Books: See my interests above. My current favorite book is a novel called "Beneath a Scarlet Sky." I just read "Freakonomics" and am currently reading "The Faith Club." Next I plan to read "The Untethered Soul."
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Killed a snake in my house in D.R. Congo. Have ridden an elephant and a camel. Learned to be patient.
Recently managed to get a snake to mount a broom in my house and carried it outside and dumped it into a neighbor's garden. (Hey, they pile the yard waste up so high that it's pushing over the fence - and they don't have dogs. And no, there are no snakes on the property. My cat just manages to find them on the border. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I live in a one bedroom house on a large property with a main house, three other cabins, and an overgrown garden. I have three friendly dogs and a cat. None of us bite. :) You'll get a queen-size bed in your own cabin, wi-fi, and hot water. Five minutes uphill from the bus stop. Can help you navigate San José buses. I'm a 45-minute bus ride west of downtown San José.
