Dr. Diane Counce is a board-certified Neurologist and Board Certified Neuroradiologist in Hoover, Alabama. She has been in private practice since 2001 after serving as Chief Neurophysiology Resident at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She graduated Summa Cum laude from Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi, and received her medical education from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. She completed residency in Neurology at the University of Alabama Medical Center in Birmingham. Dr. Diane Counce also completed a fellowship in Neurophysiology under the direction of Dr. Shin Oh and Dr. Ed Faught at UAB. Dr. Diane Counce is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Academy of Neurology, American Headache Society, American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine and American Epilepsy Society. She has contributed numerous articles to medical literature and currently participates in research projects for treatment of neurological diseases such as stroke, neuropathy, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s dementia and migraine headaches.
