My name is Diane, I’m 21 years old and I’m from Lille, in the north of France. I am responsible, independent, dynamic, and I enjoy connecting with others. That’s why I’ve always been drawn to helping professions, such as those in the medical or paramedical fields. I love taking photos, meeting new people, and discovering new landscapes while traveling. I’m also an animal lover; I have two dogs and a cat. I had the wonderful experience of caring for a litter of 8 puppies after my dog gave birth.

I enjoy speaking both English and Spanish. I find it fun to express myself in another language while meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds. At home, I regularly take care of cleaning and cooking lunch—I like to use my creativity to benefit those around me.

I am passionate about board sports like surfing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, skiing, and kitesurfing. I also have a special love for scuba diving, where I earned my Level 2 certification two years ago. I run regularly for pleasure, often with my dogs or friends.

I spent 13 years in scouting and last year, I led a troop of 25 girls as a scout leader. Through scouting, I’ve participated in several humanitarian projects, such as building a school in a village in Romania, helping the sick during pilgrimages to Lourdes, and organizing a mobile camp with friends where we cleaned beaches with the association "Les Mains dans le Sable."

I was fortunate to grow up in a family where a love for travel, meeting new people, and seeking out adventures is deeply shared. I've had the opportunity to visit Argentina, Egypt, Romania, England, and several other European countries. We immersed ourselves in the local cultures, which is something I thoroughly enjoyed and would love to continue doing this year with WorldPackers.
