I am 31years old from the North of England.

I live with my fiancé , Ant who is 33 years old and our 2 rescue dogs.

We recently returned to work after spending 10 months travelling the world.

We are both very open minded, and love trying new things.

We really enjoy meeting new people, and listening to different perspectives and opinions of the world.
In our time travelling we have met and spoken to many different people and have loved every encounter.

I would see myself as a force for change, I hate injustice and I strive to make sure people can have equal opportunities no matter their circumstances.

I absolutely love animals, and cruelty on any level horrifies me. I love the outdoors and the night sky.

I am a social butterfly, but love my own company.

Both myself and Ant love to be active, but also love to relax. We have spent our current travelling days walking for miles then relaxing in hot springs by night.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel CS is an opportunity to become a genuine traveller and not 'tourist'.

We are really eager to experience authentic culture and experiences, I would like to explore off the beaten track and help others do the same if we host.

There is fear, because this is the first time we have done anything like this, but the rewards and the experiences gained from challenging ourselves and meeting new people will help us build memories we will treasure.

I love reading, I will always have a book to hand to read.

My partner is a huge fan of music and loves to listen to live bands.

We are very open to try new hobbies, listen to new music and be introduced to new literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Leaving our jobs and taking 12 months out will be one of the most amazing things we have ever done.

I also saved a sheep stuck in a fence in a blizzard, that was pretty rewarding......and cold.

I am eager to learn as much as I can from the countries I visit.

I am eager to share any experiences I can with potential hosts/surfers.

I am happy to cook some British cuisine, 'Yorkshire Puddings' or 'Pie and Peas' being the favourites.
