About Me

My name is Diane, I'm French and I've spent more than half of my life out of France (4 years in Poland, 3 years in Denmark, 4 years in Belgium, 1 year in Japan). And whenever I'm in France, I'm planning my future trips!

Very concerned about environmenal issues, I've studied studying environmental public policy and I am now doing a journalism degree. I'm also very into alternative agriculture methods and organic food (I'm vegan at home, vegetarian when travelling, and ready to cook for you). Love to talk about politics too, but I don't mind speaking of something else if you'd rather no to!

This summer, my boyfriend and I are traveling across Germany (Hamburg, Berlin, Leipzig) to end up in Prague (a dream for us: we're both very fond of Milan Kundera).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sleeping in hostels is nice. Staying with people who know the cities and sharing stories with them is much better.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to live music in concerts. I'm fond of alternative and garage rock, but also bits of electronic and salsa music haha.

The last book I read and was moved by was a Milan Kundera novel.

I have a weird passion for horror movies, but I also spend quite a lot of time watching animated films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed up to the top of Mont Fuji. By night. Right after a typhoon.
