Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have gone to a few potlucks in the St.Louis area and thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the couchsurfers there! During the STL couchcrash, my son and I hosted 2 of his friends from out of town. We had a lovely breakfast together and they entertained me with guitar playing and singing!

This will be my first time couchsurfing!

Music, Movies, and Books

These are too numerous to mention...Let me just say that I named my son after a character in a Thomas Hardy novel (Far from the Madding Crowd) but almost named him after Atticus Finch in "To Kill a Mockingbird." Two of my favorite films are "On the Waterfront" and "La Strada" Some of my favorite musicians are Bob Dylan, Prince, contemporary Hawaiian musicians, REM, Iris DeMent....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My son and I spent one year schooling on the road traveling around the US from Sept to June staying with all different types of families and having a multitude of adventures.
