ABOUT ME

An 18-year-old Indonesian currently living in Perth, Western Australia. I am studying Political Science and International Relations, also Anthropology and Italian Studies at the University of Western Australia. I have been living away from home since I was 15 years old, and I have travelled on my own a lot before that.

Apart from some cities in Europe, Asia and cities in Indonesia, I haven't travelled much. However it is one of my big interests of doing in the near future. Being active in some organisations, I enjoy networking - meeting and getting to know new people, learning new cultures, and getting involved in fun and interesting events. Coming from Indonesian warm culture, I get along with people very easily. Growing up in Indonesia also gave me opportunities to do a lot of fun outdoor activities like hiking, climbing, caving, snorkelling.

I am a big fan of Oasis and Star Wars, but I enjoy other genres of music and movies too.

I do not read much but I do enjoy really good books. If I have to pick my favourites, Khaled Hosseini's "Kite Runner" and "A Thousand Splendid Suns" & Andrea Hirata's "The Rainbow Troop" and "Edensor" are just some that I can read over and over again.

Climbing Mt Welirang, Mt Pundak, Mt Bromo and caving in East Java.
Learning English in the beautiful city of Oxford.

I speak fluent Indonesian, I can also speak Javanese and I am currently in Intermediate level of Italian - I can teach some useful phrases for the fellow travellers? I like sharing about cultures and travel stories, and learn about current affairs.
