I'm currently working as a Quality Assurance Engineer at a software company. It's a 9 to 5 job with limited vacation leaves, so I only get to travel a few times every year. I haven't been to a lot of countries yet since I do not do solo travels abroad. I can be quite reserved and cautious.😇 Although I am up for anything, as long as it is safe and legal.🤣

While traveling, I always make sure to visit at least one of the amusement parks because I think it is one of the happiest places on earth. The rides are exciting and sometimes they have musicals too. 💜

I like going on walks, just trying to get to know the place/neighborhood. I would love to go hiking since I have never done it outside the country(the people I'm with aren't a fan).

I also enjoy cooking and baking, although I am not very good at it - I still need lots of practice. And I rarely drink alcoholic beverages; I'm just not a fan of the taste.

Currently studying the Korean language, when I am feeling like it. 🙃 Hopefully I can make conversation by the time I go to South Korea next year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always traveled with close friends and never really interacted with anyone else aside from asking directions. I'm planning to travel on my own when the situation gets better, planning to stay at a certain country for a longer period, and I think it would be nice to get to know other people; to know more about the place and culture.
I remembered a friend of mine mentioned this website years ago. And she told me how she's met good friends through this which peaked my interest.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all types of music from the 70s, 80s, 90s and the present. My favorites... just at the top of my head right now, are Fleetwood Mac, Abba, The Corrs, MCR, FOB, Nickelback, Years & Years.
But I mostly listen to musicals OST, Ed Sheeran, BTS and Mamamoo these days.

For movies, I am mostly into fantasy, sci-fi, rom-com and horror. I love movies with unexpected twists, interesting characters and myths. If you name a famous movie, I've probably seen it(just until 2010 though 😅).

I enjoy reading, but I haven't done it recently. I still have about a dozen unopened books... The last books I've read and enjoyed were the 'The Arcana Chronicles' and 'The Selection'. If you give me a good book, I'll most probably finish it in a day.
