Hi there :) 31 year old growth hacker, entrepreneur, and writer here.

I spent my 20's starting a tech company in New York. The story was fairly similar to what you might imagine: two geeks create an app from their garage (in this case, my ex-partner's mom's basement), the app suddenly blows up and gets millions of users. It was a fun ride, but unfortunately it meant that I was glued to my office desk and did no traveling.

After the company exited, I suddenly had a ton of free time and decided to took a trip to Europe...except once I got there, I spontaneously decided to stay for two years, ha. I moved back to the US and decided to move to Austin, TX.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Whilst frolicking around Europe for two years, I crashed on a lot of couches. I got hooked on meeting people from different places and I like playing tour guide, so this seemed potentially fun.

That and I'm trying to pay it forward and pay off some of my karmic debt :p
