Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As soon as I'll be settled down, my couch will be an open place for those who like travelling and sharing good moments - but for now all I can do here is asking for a night on your sofa !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed on a few couches around Europe (mostly good memories) - and before I heard of Couchsurfing, I used to surf on my friends' friends' friends' couches, which is kind of the same.

Unfortunately I was never able to host anyone as I rarely stay more than a few months in a city - and then, back to my parents' place. One day I'll stay long enough in an apartment to unpack, know the city and host people !

Interests

I like reading, watching movies, playing the piano and the guitar (at least I try...), playing, cooking, knitting. That's for the "staying home" part.
I also like walking, climbing and swimming, and most of all, playing Ultimate frisbee.
I never say "no" to a night with my friends : going to the bar, having diner together, playing cards,...

Also, being presently unemployed allows me to visit many museums and monuments for free, so I am improving my knowledge in arts and history.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movies include "Burnt by the sun" by Nikita Mikhalkov, "Lust, caution" by Ang Lee, "Where do we go now?" by Nadine Labaki. I am not really into blockbusters or sci-fi but I can compromise.

I don't have a favorite kind of music and am always keen to hear new things.

I love reading and I buy LOTS of books - I tend to choose them just by looking at the covers. I try to read a few classics - especially Russian ones but honestly, most of the time, I read recent books.
Oh ! I also love cooking books :)

I could show you how to knit while you teach me your language - then we'll cook together to learn a few tricks !
