International development & economics researcher, originally from California. Work takes me everywhere - just the way I like it - so I've lived in China, India, Sierra Leone, Indonesia, and Myanmar, and couch surfed or camped everywhere in between.

I love spicy food.

PHILOSOPHY

Your reason and your passion are the rudder and the sails of your seafaring soul. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have couchsurfed across America, South America, China, West and East Africa, India, Nepal, and SE Asia. My house *was* the most popular couchsurfing destination in Central California once upon a time, and we made every surfer make us a drawing or a painting. The resulting collection should be in the Louvre.
