About Me
Non seppe
Ch'è la stessa illusione mondo e mente
Che nel mistero delle proprie onde
Ogni terrena voce fa naufragio.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am not an usual user of couchsurfing, because until now I always had friends, or contacts of friends, who could host me. However, I think that this is a very nice opportunity to connect people from different backgrounds, which makes life rich.
Interests
I am a trumpet player and more recently clarinet player. Music is a big part of my life and one of the most beautiful ways I know to connect with other people. It doesn't matter which is the musical knowledge of the person in front of me, I know that we always have something to share about music.
Recently I had some ear problem and I slowed down with music. I started writing and reading some poetry, a very nice way to free my feelings.
I love nature, sleeping alone in the forest or on the beach, discovering paths, listen to the sound of small animals while sleeping and being far from the craziness of capitalism and big cities. I always have my tent on me and I prefere see the stars than a roof above me.
In this moment, traveling with music is my main project. I have been in the balkan region (Serbia, Macedonia, Greece, Albania, Turkey) and I played a lot with local musicians.
"I am interested in spirituality" or in other world I am searching for an higher consciousness of who I am, which is my path and how do I create it. Is difficult to write about this...is not about one specific discipline I experienced: Yoga, Schamanism, art, drogues, meditation, the present moment, the nature...is just about life and being conscious and free.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music (too much to list here): all the jazz, from bebop to electric era of 70'. I am inside balkan music, from Greece, Serbia, Macedonia, and very fascinated from middle eastern music (Georgy, Armenia, Turkey..). I love brasilian music, the first I fell in love with: all the carnaval rythmes, forrò, choro, samba...
In general I can love any style of music, if it is authentic.
The last book I read were: "l'herbe du diable et la petite fumée" de Castaneda, "El universo en una cascara de noz" de Stephen Hawking, "l'existentialiste est un humanisme" de Sartre, the autobiorgaphy of Miles Davis, le pouvoir du moment présent de Ekchart Tolls.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I created a brass band and brought it to play for one month in the carnaval of rio de Janeiro!!
